Kurt Maddox is a long-time Gravette resident, public servant, and dedicated leader committed to the continued progress of the community he calls home.

Kurt attended Gravette High School and went on to earn both a Master’s in Business Administration and a Master’s in Leadership and Ethics from John Brown University. His education and experience have shaped a practical, steady approach to leadership focused on results.

Since being elected Mayor in 2015, Kurt has helped guide Gravette through meaningful growth while maintaining a focus on responsible decision-making, infrastructure improvements, and open communication with residents.

He believes Gravette should remain a place where families can put down roots and businesses have the opportunity to grow.

Kurt and his wife, Dawn, have been married for 36 years and are proud parents of six children and grandparents to four.
